Since 1960s, it has been expanding qualitatively and quantitatively with the economic development of the Republic of Korea, and has developed into the most successful herbal medicine market in Korea today.

Seoul Yangnyeongsi was established the foundation for the development of Yangnyeongsi in earnest, starting with 'Kyungdong Chinese Medicine Association' in 1989, in 1995 it was designated as 'Kyungdong Yangnyeongsi' (traditional Chinese medicine market area) and in 1990s, the development of Yangnyeongsi of Seoul was achieved.

This exhibited 32 photographs showing the 90's development  of Yangnyeongsi in Seoul among photographs donated by Seoul Yangnyeongsi Association.
